Joy Zimmerman curated a "Women Who Walked on Water" Hall of Portraits with an Artist as Activist grant from the Mid-America Arts Alliance. This Hall of Portraits was part of the Her Art/Their Art Exhibition at InterUrban ArtHouse March 18th - April 30, 2022. The exhibition was a partnership between InterUrban ArtHouse and UMKC Women's Center. 

 Joy Zimmerman regularly gives concerts with music and stories of courageous women to benefit women's organizations.
