Dear friends,
Have you heard this quote: “Time whispers by, while we're busy shouting”? I’m afraid I spend too much time shouting, frustrated that I don't finish enough projects or have enough hours in a day. And where’s the assurance that the road I choose will be fruitful or the next change happen without grief? But here’s the work ahead: to listen for time’s whisper as we learn to dance with the ebb and flow, the bitter and the sweet.

Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious meals, safety checks, and friendly companionship to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities. By bringing prepared food directly to the doorsteps of those unable to buy or cook their own groceries, the program addresses food insecurity and promotes nutritional health. (I can attest to how rewarding it is to deliver these meals!) Consider volunteering or making a contribution. Government funding is not enough to meet the growing demand for Meals on Wheels services. Only 1% of philanthropic donations support senior causes.

If only the world were like this more often…

Wishing you stillness and contentment. xoxo, Joy
