Dear Friends,
One of best concerts (and easiest photo puns) I ever enjoyed was I’m With Her at the Kauffman Center in Kansas City. Sarah Jarosz, Sara Watkins, and Aoife O’Donovan are each incredible singer/songwriters and multi-instrumentalists in their own right, but--wow--what happens when they compose and perform together!

“Ancient Light” is at once inviting, inspiring, and comforting. “When I get there, I’ll be swimmin’ in the ancient light…”

Many people come up after gigs to say they used to play the violin…or have just started ukulele or vocal lessons…or plan to take up piano when they retire. Hats off to all of us who are learning instruments and singing! If you need any encouragement, here's “How Playing an Instrument Benefits Your Brain.”

“For nearly 30 years, the National Women’s History Museum has been working to illuminate the stories of women who have shaped our past and who continue to inform our shared future. Women’s history is not a footnote. It is foundational.
We're working to change that. The National Women’s History Museum is an independent, nonprofit organization whose work relies on private philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations. Your philanthropy allows NWHM to tell the stories of women who transformed our nation. Together we will help ensure a more complete, representative view of American history.”

If you need a belly laugh, this baby will help!
