Amplifying Hope | Week 52

Happy (almost) New Year, Friends!

What are your hopes for 2026? The Ted Talk video below, “Make Art When the World is on Fire,” is an unabashed pep talk. I hope it inspires us all to be more creative (broad definition!) in the new year. Goodness knows, the world needs it.

I’m going to heed my own advice and free up more time for creativity. Beginning next week, Amplify Hope emails will arrive in your inbox every other week. Thanks for all your support and appreciative comments!

What a thrill to have Katie Simpson and Liam Saito of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet choreograph and perform on my song, “Light the Stage!”

“In The Book of Alchemy, Suleika explores the art of journaling and shares everything she’s learned about how this life-altering practice can help us tap into that mystical trait that exists in every human: creativity. She has gathered wisdom from one hundred writers, artists, and thinkers in the form of essays and writing prompts. Their insights invite us to inhabit a more inspired life.”

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.” ~Eleanor Roosevelt
