Dear Friends,
Where are you finding comfort these days? Amidst the many reasons to despair, I hope you’re working to affect change and doing nice things for yourself.

Paul McCartney was inspired to write “Let It Be” after his mother Mary appeared to him in a dream. She had died of cancer when Paul was 14, and he felt her reassurance when she told him “It’s gonna be OK. Just let it be…”

Here’s the story behind the above surprise(!) version of “Let It Be”…

“Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to achieving global gender equality. Together, we learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in low-income communities in the Global South, and build community to forge meaningful connections that increase our strength and collective impact.”

To scale; the moon
